Baby Shower Birthday Cards--September Sale--$15

These are, by far, one of my favorite Keep In Touch Stationery Co. products--Baby Shower Birthday Cards! I was asked by a friend to create these for her first child's baby shower. The Birthday Card set has 18 cards, for the child's first 18 birthdays. At the baby shower, my friend wanted those of us attending to write notes of encouragement, prayers, funny memories that we shared with the child's parents, etc. on the cards. My friend will present her daughter the cards, year after year, from her first to her eighteenth birthday. Her daughter will read the cards each year (and I know she'll treasure each one and anticipate each card's opening on her annual BIG DAY!) At first, I was unsure of how these cards would work when I whipped them out at the baby shower that evening. However, as I sat and wrote prayers for Ella in card after card, I literally held back the tears. It was truly a beautiful, moving experience. You can read more of my thoughts here in a post I wrote the evening following the baby shower.

I have sets available for BOYS and GIRLS and also a GENDER NEUTRAL set! Pictures above are from the Boy Set and pictures below are from the Girl Set. The Gender Neutral set has similar designs, but are, obviously, color-themed in a less obvious way.

I love this product soooooooooooooooooo much that I want to make it available to my customers at a discounted rate during the month of September! Normally, the 18-card (and 18 envelope) set is $20. During the month of September, you can buy these sets for $15.

Here are some other creative uses for the set if you want a set but don't have a baby shower in your near future (or the shower has already passed because your sweet baby is now in your arms!) One cutstomer bought a set for her soon-to-be 1 year old daughter, and she had the attendees at her daughter's 1st birthday party write notes in the 18 cards during the festivities. Another mother bought sets for each of her 3 daughters to write a special message to her daughters on their birthdays from year to hear. She wanted to have "keepsake set" so that the girls can keep them and read them again, again, and again. Another customer bought a set to have at the hospital after her daughter was born. Each person that came to meet her daughter for the first time wrote a special note to her in one of the 18 cards. Finally, one savvy customer bought a set to use simply for birthday cards! If you have young children like me, you know how many birthday parties we're invited to! What a great idea to have a "stash" at home. No last minute trips to Target to buy a $3 card!

To order your set...or sets, email me-- keepintouchstationery AT gmail DOT com. The $15 sale price ends September 30, 2013.

Free Fridays in March--Week Three!

UPDATE: Before you post a comment, make sure to read below. :) There's something that you have to include in your comment to be entered in the drawing. :) (Hint, hint...go vote!)
It's WEEK THREE of FREE FRIDAYS IN MARCH! I'm formally introducing another new Keep in Touch Stationery Co. product today! I designed these Birthday Cards in November for a dear friends baby shower, and I've been selling them ever since! However, I wanted to officially introduce them this month along with the other new products.

The Birthday Card set includes 18 cards and was originally designed to use at a baby shower. Those attending the baby shower can write prayers, funny stories or memories, words of encouragement, or questions for the child to ask his/her parents about their memories from that age. On the child's birthday for the next 18 years, he/she will receive that year's birthday card from his/her parents. It's a wonderful opportunity to cover this precious life with words of encouragement and prayers throughout the next 18 years of his/her life--all before entering the world! Please read my original post in November about the set (designed for a girl) and my February post revealing the set for little boys! Both posts have more pictures of some of the 18 cards!

I have already sold several sets of the cards, and I have some creative customers, who have found other fun ways to use these cards! One customer bought a set for her soon-to-be 1 year old daughter, and she is going to have those attending her daughter's birthday party to write notes in the 18 cards. Another mother bought a set and is planning to write a special message to her daughter on her birthday from year to year. She wanted her to have a "keepsake set" so that her daughter can keep them and read them again and again. Another customer bought a set to use simply for birthday cards! If you have young children like me, you know how many birthday parties we're invited to! What a great idea to have a "stash" at home. No last minute trips to Target to buy a $3 card!

The Birthday Cards are the third "FREE FRIDAYS IN MARCH" item
. This week I need your help! Currently the "First Birthday" card in the "girl" set is a pink sheep with yellow and pink polka dots (so cute!). I recently used the pink sheep for some invitations, and I used pink and brown polka dots (also, so cute!). (In the pictures above, the last two pictures are examples of what I'm referencing.) So, I'm thinking to change the card from pink & yellow to pink & brown. So, when leaving your comment, you have to vote "pink & yellow" or "pink & brown" to officially be entered in the free drawing. Leave a comment below before 11:59 pm (CST) on Sunday, March 22, and I will pick one lucky customer to have a free set*! Check back on Monday to see the lucky winner!

Also, I'll go ahead and tell you the SURPRISE for those of you that don't win. (Yes, I have something for everyone!!). These Birthday Cards are "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" through March 31. The set of 18 cards/envelopes sells for $20, so through the end of the month you can get TWO SETS FOR $20. That's an excellent deal! Don't forget to look back at the items from Free Fridays in March--Week One (Happy Birthday Enclosure Cards) and Free Fridays in March--Week Two (Thank You Notes w/Bible verses) because they, too, are "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" through the end of the month. :) They're SOOOOOOOOO cute!

Have a great weekend! In the meantime, let's keep in touch!

Baby Shower Birthday Cards--for boys!

If you missed my post in November about a new product that I'm selling, Baby Shower Birthday Cards, click here to read about them! The pictures in that post are of the "Girl" Birthday Cards. I just finished designing the "Boy" Birthday Cards. You'll find pictures of them below! I have 2 sons, so I appreciate the "Happy 16th Birthday" card, but I secretly hope that my boys never want a motorcycle! :)

In honor of these new items, I'm giving away a set!* Post a comment below before tomorrow (Feb. 26) at 8pm CST, and I'll pick one winner! I'll post the winner here on Friday morning! *Valid for U.S. addresses only.

In the meantime, let's keep in touch!

Baby Shower Birthday Cards

Our friends, Jeff & Kelly, are seven weeks away from welcoming their daughter! (By the way, Kelly's due December 27, so that means Christmas is 7 weeks away. Are you kidding me?!?!?) We went to a shower for them last night, and boy were they "showered." They got some great things for their baby girl!

The shower hostesses asked me to design 18 different birthday cards for Jeff & Kelly's daughter. They wanted to have them at the shower in order for the guests to write fun messages, words of encouragement, and prayers for this sweet baby girl! On her birthday for the next 18 years of her life, Jeff and Kelly will give her that year's card. I had never heard of doing anything like this before at a baby shower. I confess, I was a little skeptical; I thought it sounded like a silly idea. However, I agreed to design the cards and had MUCH fun doing so!

So, last night at the shower, we presented the 18 cards to Jeff and Kelly and told them what the cards were for, and we, the guests, were instructed to write in each of the 18 cards. So, I, the rule-follower that I am, went into the dining room where the cards were spread out and started writing notes to baby girl. Before I sat down to write, I decided that I would just do a couple. However, after I sat down and wrote in the first card, I was SOLD on this being the GREATEST thing ever to do at a baby shower! It was fun to think through each birthday over the next 18 years of her life, what will be going on in her life that year, and prayers & hopes for her. I told her to ask her Mommy & Daddy for their favorite memories of turning 3 or 8 or 13. On her 10th birthday, I told her to ask her parents about the baby shower that we had for her that evening and to have them tell her about the specific prayers that everyone prayed for her that night. For her 16th birthday, I challenged her to read Proverbs 31 each week that year and pray that God would continue shaping her into a Godly woman. It was hard for me to hold back the tears! With each of the 18 cards, I thought about this sweet little life--only 7 weeks away from entering this world--but already being covered in prayer for these first 18 years of her life! and the powerful prayers that were already being prayed for her.

So, I'm convinced now. Any baby shower that I help with from now on, we're doing the 18 birthday cards! I'm SO convinced that I'm now selling these cards and making them available to you. There's a boy set and a girl set. The pictures below are of the girl set; these were the ones we used last night. If you're interested in ordering a set, just email me!
